from the direction of Zurich
Drive on the A1 towards Bern… Take the exit ‘Aarau-Ost’. You will need to turn right. Stay in the right lane, which will lead you onto the Aaretalstrasse (5) towards Suhr – Aarau (green sign). After five kilometers, exit this road (white sign ‘Telli / Schachen’). Stay in the right lane and turn right at the traffic lights (Transit). Exit the first roundabout at the second exit. You are now on Tellistrasse. There are two more roundabouts ahead. Always follow Tellistrasse (straight ahead). The street name changes to Mühlemattstrasse and then to Schiffländestrasse. Now you are driving parallel to the Aare river. Continue straight ahead. Follow the sign for Schachen. About 300 meters after the 90-degree left turn, you will be directed to the large parking lot at Schachenwiese.

Take bus line 6 from Aarau train station towards Wöschnauring and get off at the Allmendweg stop.

… from the direction of Bern:
Drive on the A1 towards Zurich. Take the exit ‘Aarau-West’ and then turn right towards Aarau. You are now on Suhrentalstrasse (24). Once in Aarau, continue straight ahead. At the Turbinen roundabout (you will see the AEW high-rise building on your left), take the first exit. You are now on Hintere Bahnhofstrasse. At the next roundabout (Gaiskreisel), take the third exit towards Basel. Schachen is also indicated on the signpost. After the Sauerländertunnel, you are now on Mühlemattstrasse. Stay on this road, which later becomes Schiffländestrasse. Now you are driving parallel to the Aare river. Continue straight ahead. Follow the sign for Schachen. About 300 meters after the 90-degree left turn, you will be directed to the large parking lot at Schachenwiese.
